The AdReview Marketing Awards 2015 entries are open.

The entries for the 2015 AdReview Marketing Awards are open and this year we are doing things a little differently. After 15 years as a leading industry commentator and awards show that rewards advertising agencies for excellence, the focus has shifted to the business of marketing. This is now a service offered to marketers, and ad agencies are of course included as a vital part of the marketing mix.

Our new business mantra is The business of marketing and the marketing of business.”

Adreview Marketing 2015 is both a survey of agency performance and an awards platform different from any you have seen before. The questionnaires serve two purposes. The first and most important is to gather data which we will use to generate our Agency Performance Tables. So, even if you have no expectation of winning an award, please fill in and return the questionnaire, so that we can continue to provide this valuable data for use by the marketing industry.

The second purpose is to provide a solid underpinning to our awards.

And that brings us to another exciting change to our format. In recognition of the importance of the entire marketing process in producing great and effective communication, we are introducing the Effective Marketing Awards. These awards reward campaign effectiveness and are awarded jointly to the client and the agency. The key awards as you have always known them will stay, but now the awards are divided into two categories – Agency Awards and Effective Marketing Awards. Another addition to our Awards line-up is Advertising School of the Year, where we acknowledge the importance of our Advertising Schools in nurturing the future of South African advertising.

The deadline for all entries is August 7, 2015 and the winners and A Listers will be announced on September 15, 2015.

Why you should enter:

  • You will help us to maintain our existing high level of information about agency performance.
  • You might win an award.
  • Marketing 2015 will be for marketers and judged by marketers.
